Bookings - We will confirm your booking on receipt of a completed booking form giving your order number, against which our invoice will be raised. Bookings cannot be confirmed without an order number.
Cancellations - All cancellations should be notified by e-mail prior to the closing date. Please note that all cancellations after the closing date will be charged at the seminar rate. Submission of a booking form denotes acceptance of this condition. Should you have to cancel after the closing date, you can avoid this cancellation fee by substituting someone to attend in your place.
Substitutions - These may be made at any time at no extra charge and should be notified by e-mail prior to the event.
Confirmation - Your place will be confirmed on receipt of your booking form. If you have not heard from us within five working days of submitting your booking, please contact the event organiser.
Joining Instructions - These will be sent out no later than 5 working days prior to the event and will include relevant papers and directions for getting to the venue.
Seminar changes - Occasionally it may be necessary to alter the contents and timing of the programme or the identity of the speakers. In the unlikely event of an event being cancelled due to low numbers or events outside of our control, including adverse weather conditions, flooding or industrial action EMC shall not be liable for any compensation.
Special requirements - Please use the appropriate section on the booking form to let us know about any assistance you may require in relation to any special requirements such as wheelchair access or special dietary needs. Should you wish to discuss these, please contact the event organiser.
Purchase order numbers – Purchase orders should be issued to East Midlands Councils at Phoenix House, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 0UL. Invoices are issued by East Midlands Councils, but are in the name of Leicestershire County Council, who are our accountable body. All payments should be made to Leicestershire County Council.
