Programme 2012/13
What does the programme look like?
East Midlands Councils working with CIEH East Midlands have again arranged 6 seminars of relevant knowledge based topics for all local authority regulatory employees. All the seminars will be held in Melton Mowbray.
- Each local authority, who is a member of East Midlands Councils, will pay a one off cost of £500+VAT per participating organisation per year.
- For this fee, participating organisations can have 18 course places per year (3* places per seminar).
- Each seminar of the 5 Pack + 1 programme will recognise the completion of a minimum of 5.5 hours CPD.
- The 2012/13 seminar topics have been chosen by each of the county Chief Environmental Health Officers (CEHO) groups. These topics will change in future years to reflect the diverse nature of environmental health.
- The seminars are open to both CIEH members and non-members working in local authorities.
- Private sector/Self funding CIEH members are required to pay £180+VAT each (non-transferable) for the year to attend 1 or more seminars.
- Private sector/Self funding non CIEH members are required to pay £360+VAT each (non-transferable) for the year to attend 1 or more seminars.

How do you register?
Approximately 2 months prior to each seminar, you will be sent by email the relevant programme and delegate booking form. Please complete the latter with a list of delegate names from your authority and email it to moira.hunt@emcouncils.gov.uk or, post the completed delegate booking form to Moira Hunt, EMC, Phoenix House, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire LE13 0UL. The closing date for delegate registration is 2 weeks prior to each seminar.
* If a seminar is undersubscribed, extra places will be offered to authorities after the closing date.
** The Legal and Evidence Seminar is the only one to be held on a Tuesday the remaining 5 will be on Thursday.
