Coaching Creatively

The East Midlands Coaching Network is holding a very practical CPD session for Coaches on 27 September, ‘Coaching Creatively’. 

Purpose:

To help coaches develop their understanding and confidence around creative coaching methods and techniques 

Objectives:

  • Understand how understanding Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic (VAK) attributes can assist when working with clients
  • Explore and experience a range of creative tools and techniques and consider how to build these into work with clients
  • Provide coaches with a resource pack to support and stimulate future learning 

What the session will cover;

  • Introduction to VAK preferences and links to neuroscience
  • How we see and hear things differently
  • A few creative resources and techniques
  • Coaching practice using different resources
  • Designing a group coaching intervention
  • Introduction to resource pack
  • Review and action planning

The session will be led by Sandra WhilesBFC89B72-DD66-4812-817B-BBB7477BDDF1.large

Sandra is a former District Council Chief Executive, experienced coach and occasional artist who left local government in 2016 to concentrate on her coaching practice. She is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, has a post graduate coaching qualification from the University of Chester and has studied NLP to Masters Level.

Sandra has always used creative tools in her work, both as a leader and as a coach, to help people develop and succeed. In this interactive workshop she will share some of her resources, look at how you can help clients create their own solutions and provide you with a resource pack to take away and play with for yourselves. 

What is the East Midlands Coaching Network?

The East Midlands Coaching Network is a regional network of coaches across the East Midlands, supported by East Midlands Councils and facilitated by an online coaching management and development system.

The East Midlands Coaching Network will help organisations build internal coaching capacity and enable people to access trained and experienced coaches from other local authorities and partner organisations to support performance, improvement and personal development at very low cost.

Coaches in the East Midlands Coaching Network and other Coaches.

Costs

Free – to coaches in the East Midlands Coaching Network. 

£35 + VAT – for authorities subscribed to the network is (where individuals aren’t coaches in the network)

£95 + VAT members of East Midlands Councils

Coaches outside of the network are welcome to attend these events for the very cost effective prices described above.
