Coaching Creatively

The East Midlands Coaching Network is holding a very practical CPD session for Coaches on 27 September, ‘Coaching Creatively’.

The first event in the low cost CPD programme for Housing. This first event will focus on Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

EMC is running a half day Chairing and Facilitation Skills event for Councillors. The training is to be delivered by Nelson Training, an award winning drama based training company. Nelson training use a Unique interactive drama approach, using live interactive drama with a touch of comedy combined with individual and group activities. East Midlands Councils together with experienced practitioners from South East Employers are providing an opportunity to undertake a 3 day ILM endorsed programme in Mediation and Conflict Resolution which will give you the skills and confidence to undertake mediation from initial meeting with the parties to closure, following a mediation model.

This event will look at initial healthcare assessments for new arrivals identifying key needs and opportunities for health promotion and preventative for Syrian Refugees.

On 16 November 2017 East Midlands Councils will once again bring the Local Authority Challenge to the East Midlands. In 2016 South Kesteven District Council became the first Local Authority Challenge Winner for the East Midlands, taking part in the interactive, high pressure exciting development focused competition.

East Midlands Councils is proudly introducing a one day conference designed to support Office Managers, Secretaries, PAs, Team Administrators – in fact anyone who organises others to achieve their goals.
