East Midlands Councils is offering an accredited 5 day Coaching and Mentoring course, which works in partnership with the East Midlands Coaching network.
East Midlands Councils (EMC) is holding a Planning Masterclass, which aims to provide planning practitioners with updates on the latest developments in Sustainability Appraisal/Strategic Environmental Assessment of Local Plans, drawing on the most recent practice and emerging case law. It will deal with thorny issues, such as demonstrating reasonable alternatives have been properly addressed, the appraisal of how much growth, and where major development should be located, in the absence of a Regional Plan.
This course will examine the causes of rent arrears, and promote an interventionist approach and strategy designed to prevent arrears.
The day will include discussion on the role of prospective ceremonial Lord Mayors, Mayors, Consorts, Deputies and Chairpersons and will identify any concerns and further needs that the delegates may have in carrying out their duties.
