East Midlands Councils is the consultative forum for local authorities in the region.

It provides support to Councils to improve their services and is a strong voice for the East Midlands.

Transformation Challenge Award 2014-17 Engagement Event

DCLG has recently announced the Transformation Challenge Award 2014-17 to support local councils develop proposals for transforming service delivery. The Award Fund is made up of a £100m collaboration and efficiency fund (announced in the Spending Review) along with a £200m facility (over 2015/16-2016/17) to use the capital receipts from asset sales flexibly to support transformation.
