The Welfare Reform Act will bring about fundamental changes to the welfare system, including the introduction of the Universal Credit, the localisation of council tax benefit, and the application of a benefits cap. All these have major implications for councils, particularly those that manage housing benefit, but will also impact on adult and children’s services authorities.

The epaycheck service offered to our Local Authorities will provide them with access to ‘real time’ pay benchmarking data for hundreds of common roles that exist across the sector. Local Authorities will need to book onto one of the 1/2 day training sessions available.
This course will provide you with a detailed understanding of Right to Buy legislation (including decided cases). It will also enable you to write RTB procedures and follow them in practice. It is designed to help practitioners keep up to date and to develop their skills in what is likely to be an increasingly important area of work in the future.
