Proposed changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme

The LGPS have published a series of consultation documents for employers relating to proposed changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme following discussions between the LGA and unions. EMC is liaising with the LGA pension’s team to arrange for them to come to the region to support the consultation process and ensure councils have an opportunity to clearly understand the proposals and their implications. Further information about the consultation, which closes on 27 July 2012 can be found on the attached documents.
