Secondment Opportunities, Transport for the East Midlands – East Midlands Councils

East Midlands Councils (EMC) supports strategic infrastructure and economic growth across the region through its input to initiatives and programmes such as Midlands Connect, HS2 and its emerging growth strategy, rail franchising and the upgrade and electrification of the Midland Mainline. Transport for the East Midlands (TFEM) brings the nine Local Transport Authorities in the region together under the auspices of East Midlands Councils.  

East Midlands Councils is offering 2 secondment opportunities as Programme Manager and Programme Co-ordinator to support its responsibilities for strategic infrastructure and policy, particularly relating to strategic transport priorities.   

Programme Manager – East Midlands Strategic Infrastructure (£41,025 - £42,899 pa)

Programme Co-ordinator – East Midlands Strategic Infrastructure (£20,661 - £21,962 pa) 

Both roles are full time (37 hours per week) and fixed term to 31st March 2019 based at our offices at Pera, Melton Mowbray with flexible working arrangements

The work involved with this important and high profile programme will include working on behalf of Local Transport Authorities, through Transport for the East Midlands, to co-ordinate strategic infrastructure programmes and schemes, to maximise existing structures and resources and to avoid duplication across the region.
