The East Midlands Government Warning, Advice and Reporting Point (EMGWARP) Network is a member community of local athority officers concerned with Information Security, who take part in regular meetings and share each other's experience in fields such as Information Assurance, Emergency Planning and policy compliance.
The EMGWARP is a subscription based network, the subscription funds;
- The Filtered Warning Service
- Advice Brokering Service
- Trusted sharing service
The network meets on a quarterly basis, where officers working areas such as Information Assurance, Emergency Planning, and policy compliance can share information.

How to become a member of the EMGWARP
If you are interested in becoming a member of the EMGWARP please contact Kirsty Lowe at East Midlands Councils for further information.
The cost to be a member of the network is £300 for a district/borough council and £1,000 for county and unitaries. The EMGWARP is managed by a subgroup of officers from the network, who oversee the work of the network, agree and monitor the cost of membership.
