This course will raise awareness, identification and support processes of Female Genital Mutilation to multi-agency practitioners, enabling them to safeguard and identify children at risk of FGM more confidently. To support practitioners working with women and children subjected to FGM understand, engage and gain confidence with support processes to safeguard the child more effectively and improve understanding of mandatory processes and responsibilities.
