Wellbeing Conversations Development for Managers – Interactive Workshop 1

This is a practical and interactive virtual workshop enabling managers to support their team members through wellbeing conversations. 

The workshop will provide managers with:

  • A greater understanding of stress, anxiety, depression and healthy pressure and how to spot the potential signs.  
  • An understanding of the key components of personal and organisational wellbeing, and how they can influence these in the teams they manage and support individuals to work on their own personal wellbeing. 
  • A framework for a wellbeing conversation, along with other support materials to enable them to support their team members.
  • Understanding how they can discuss wellbeing more openly with individuals and explore any personal barriers in this regard. 

Attendees will also be provided with support material, resources and signposted to other organisational support frameworks.   Delegates may also be interested in attending the second workshop, which concentrates on building their skills to have a great wellbeing conversation. Workshop 1 dates and times – there are two options to chose from

  • 7th September 2020 (9:30 – 11:30)
  • 8th September 2020 (14:00 – 16:00)

This will be a 2-hour virtual workshop using Zoom as the platform.  Please note that places are limited to ensure that the session provides a practical and interactive experience for participants.

Cost - £65.00 per person for EMC Members; £75.00 per person for Associate Members and £95.00 for non-members.

Multiple Booking Discount: If 2 places are booked (either both on the same workshop or different workshops a £10.00 discount per place would apply)

Workshop Facilitator

These developmental workshops will be hosted by Julie Hickton who works in the field of personal development, resilience, wellbeing and leadership.

Julie’s passion for assisting individuals and businesses to achieve their potential is a real inspiration. Her positive motivational personality is infectious, creating a real sense of purpose, focus and enjoyment for all those who work with her.

Julie’s passion for helping individuals flourish and be of their best has led her to develop her skills and knowledge around wellbeing and how to support individuals who suffer from stress, anxiety and depression. She utilises her training in Positive Psychology, Therapeutic Coaching, NLP, Time To Think, Emotional Intelligence and compassion when working with individuals and in the workshops she creates.

As an author, Julie has written about resilience and wellbeing in her book “The Tree of Resilience”.  She uses the art of storytelling to make connections that inspire others who are experiencing difficulties.
