Develop skills for effective Wellbeing Conversations – Interactive Workshop 2

This virtual workshop is designed to flow from the Wellbeing Conversations workshop, however, it can also stand alone as an opportunity for managers to develop skills to enhance their wellbeing conversations with individuals. 

The workshop is practical and interactive, giving delegates the opportunity to discuss, explore and practice the following skills:-

  • Empathetic listening
  • Holding back from fixing
  • Exploring assumptions
  • Understanding others frame of reference 
  • Being curious through effective questions 

Attendees will be provided with support material and signposted to other resources around these skills.

Dates and times for workshop 2 - there are two options of date and time to select from

  • 22 September 2020 (9:30 – 11:30)
  • 23 September 2020 (14:00 – 16:00)

This will be a 2-hour virtual workshop using Zoom as the platform.  Please note that places are limited to ensure that the session provides a practical and interactive experience for participants.

Cost - £65.00 per person for EMC Members; £75.00 per person for Associate Members and £95.00 for non-members.

Multiple Booking Discount: If 2 places are booked (either both on the same workshop or different workshops a £10.00 discount per place would apply)

Workshop Facilitator

These developmental workshops will be hosted by Julie Hickton who works in the field of personal development, resilience, wellbeing and leadership.

Julie’s passion for assisting individuals and businesses to achieve their potential is a real inspiration. Her positive motivational personality is infectious, creating a real sense of purpose, focus and enjoyment for all those who work with her.

Julie’s passion for helping individuals flourish and be of their best has led her to develop her skills and knowledge around wellbeing and how to support individuals who suffer from stress, anxiety and depression. She utilises her training in Positive Psychology, Therapeutic Coaching, NLP, Time To Think, Emotional Intelligence and compassion when working with individuals and in the workshops she creates.

As an author, Julie has written about resilience and wellbeing in her book “The Tree of Resilience”.  She uses the art of storytelling to make connections that inspire others who are experiencing difficulties.
