East Midlands Cyber Security Network - EMGWARP

The East Midlands Government Warning, Advice and Reporting Point (EMGWARP) Network is a member community of local authority officers concerned with Cyber and Information Security, who take part in regular meetings and share each other's experience in fields such as Information Assurance, Emergency Planning and policy compliance.

The EMGWARP is a network of public sector organisations and more importantly a network of information security professionals working for those organisations who are faced with the daily, daunting task of meeting the various information security compliance challenges.

The network meets on a quarterly basis, in the last year, the network has benefitted from engaging network meetings, including a presentation from GovCERT, as well as members sharing details of their PSN experiences and queries.
