Barnardo's Child Trafficking and NRM session

East Midlands Councils are hosting a 2 hour virtual Child Trafficking and NRM session on Wednesday 10th March from 2pm-4pm delivered by Barnados after recent discussions at the monthly UASC leads meetings.

Description

 The training session will cover:

  • What is child trafficking?
  • Signs and Indicators
  • What is NRM and how does it work?
  • Introduction to ICTG service

 This 2 hour briefing session will give an overview of what Child Trafficking is, how to spot some of the signs and indicators and what to do next. It will also detail what the NRM (National Referral Mechanism) is, how to complete one and the process that follows your referral. It will include an introduction to the Independent Child Trafficking Guardianship (ICTG) service and how we can support you.
