  • NJC Circular: VE Day 75 - Earlier this month, the National Employers issued a circular providing guidance on the change of the date of the early May bank holiday from 4th to 8th May 2020 to mark the 75th anniversary of VE day
  • LGA announces re-launch of Return to Social Work programme - Designed to support councils to recruit social workers who have taken a break from work, this national scheme will provide free, high-quality training to 200 former social workers to enable them to return to the profession, this is to return in January 2020.
