EU Referendum Results - East Midlands Analysis

Remain - 48.1%

Turnout - 72.2%

England

Leave - 53.4%

Remain - 46.6%

Turnout - 73.0%

East Midlands

Leave - 58.8%

Remain - 41.2%

Turnout - 74.2%

  • The highest regional turnout was the South East with 76.8%. 

East Midlands Headline Analysis

  • Boston, South Holland, Mansfield, East Lindsey and Bolsover - all returned a 70% + vote leave result
  • Leicester City and Rushcliffe - the only 2 local authority areas that returned a vote remain result
  • Highest turnout in Derbyshire Dales 81.9%
