Introduction to coaching supervision
Programme Overview:
This one-day programme is designed as a basic introduction to coaching supervision in the workplace. It will give participants a basic understanding of the importance of coaching supervision and two key models to work with. The morning is focused on the process of 1:1 Supervision, and the afternoon covers the basics of group supervision.
Supervision of coaches is an essential requirement for any organisation that has or is developing, an in-house coaching capability. It intends to ensure that best coaching practice is maintained and that boundaries are clear and upheld.
Coaches benefit from having a safe space to share their coaching practice, express concerns or ethical dilemmas, learn more about themselves as a coach and increase their effectiveness.
The supervision process adds enormous value, and having a small number of coaches trained in its application is, therefore, essential for any organisation investing in coaching.
