Contract Award Notice

For the undertaking of primary research with former unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (‘UASC’) care leavers and UASC carers to support service development

East Midlands Councils (‘EMC’) advertised an opportunity on the 25/01/24 with a closing date of 01/03/24 to commission a suitably qualified and experienced research and evaluation partner to undertake primary research with former UASC care leavers and UASC carers, from authorities across the region, and deliver an evaluation report summarising the needs of UASC and former UASC care leavers, highlighting potential gaps in service provision and making recommendations on how UASC services can be further improved with the aim of enhancing UASC and former UASC care leaver outcomes.

Following the selection of a preferred candidate, a standstill period of 10 days was observed which ended on (08/04/24). EMC can confirm that Nottingham Trent University was successful in being awarded the tender and work will now commence on delivering the contract.
