East Midlands All Party Parliamentary Group, 14 March 2019

The East Midlands All-Party Group of MPs held their AGM on Thursday 14th March.  Perhaps as a welcome break from Brexit, MPs from across the House met to consider the key issues facing this region and met with National Housing Federation colleagues to consider affordable housing pressures and how these should be alleviated.

The well attended meeting held at Portcullis House, with presentations from the Chief Executives of Wellingborough Homes, Lincolnshire Housing Partnership and East Midlands Housing, was an informative and constructive step forward in progressing joint work on housing issues that will be reported to members.

Agenda - 14 March 2019

East Midlands All Party Parliamentary Group, 9 February 2016

MPs from across the region met on Tuesday 9th February and agreed to work on securing a better deal for the region.  In recognition of where this region loses out in terms of public expenditure, and where this region has clear strengths and comparative advantage in securing higher rates of national economic growth, MPs will be lending their weight in campaigning for further investment to meet our infrastructure priorities.  A background summary note and copy of the presentation is available from below.
