Coaching for Stepping into a New Role or Career Change
Overview
A reflective, practical CPD session that equips coaches with identity-aware techniques, questions and frameworks to deepen their coaching around transitions, confidence and stepping into new roles.
Purpose
Designed to strengthen the coaches’ confidence and capability in supporting coachees who are stepping into new roles, navigating transitions or experiencing career-related identity shifts. This session introduces an identity-aware lens, drawing on elements of role-model leadership to help coaches deepen their practice, ask more powerful questions and hold more grounded confident conversations about who the coachee is becoming.
Objectives
By the end of the session, coaches will be able to:
- Understand how identity shapes career transitions and recognise the inner and outer shifts coachees experience when stepping into a new role.
- Apply a coaching lens informed by Role Model Leadership to explore identity, presence and confidence in a coachee-centred, non-directive way.
- Strengthen confidence in coaching conversations around visibility, imposter syndrome and ‘who the coachee is becoming’.
- Practically apply learning with peer practice to embed tools and techniques.
This session will be held virtually.
