History, Experiences in Conflict and Displacement, Cultural Norms and Family Life

27 January 2026 at 10:00AM – 12:00PM

This session’s content will cover the history and current events of Iraq, as well as experiences Iraqis may face in displacement. The session will discuss the cultural norms and behaviours of the Iraqi community and cover experiences with accessing services. This session will be participatory and rely heavily on participant engagement through case studies and discussion; therefore, we highly encourage participants to come prepared to have their cameras on during the session.
