Managing Change in an uncertain landscape
Managing change alongside business as usual has become a fact of life for managers, yet many have never received development to support them. Poorly managed change leads to lowered resilience at organisational, team and individual level, disengagement, failure to achieve outcomes and inefficiency.
Who should attend?
This course is designed to support middle managers to more effectively manage and embed change, in particular ‘top down’ change as a result of strategic decision making.
What can I expect to learn?
This course will help managers to effectively implement and engage their people with change, particularly in the current context and climate.
During the course exploring the challenges of delivering change alongside “business as usual” will be a key feature as well as exploring approaches to change management that will help you implement and embed change. Understanding what can get in the way of change and how to overcome common barriers will help you make progress coupled with an increased self-awareness of your own attitude and response to change.
A key part of the course will also involve how to bring people with you through change and the importance of influencing during change, both upwards and downwards!
How will this be delivered?
This will be delivered as two half day workshops and both must be attended. The first workshop is on 25th September 2025 from 10am – 1pm delivered virtually and will focus on the underpinning knowledge needed to manage change. The second workshop will be face to face on 1st October 2025 from 10am – 1pm with lunch at PERA Business Park in Melton Mowbray and will focus on the practical applications of managing change effectively.
