A national recruitment campaign for local government has been co-produced with local authorities and Solace: Make a Difference, Work for Your Local Council. Following a successful pilot in the North East, the UK Government has funded the national roll-out of the campaign for all regions in Autumn 2024.

You are invited to join this event, hosted by East Midlands Councils and the LGA, which will help to shape how the campaign will be delivered:

• The LGA will share the campaign, the learnings from the North East pilot, and the plans for the national roll-out
• You will have the opportunity to share your ideas on how this national campaign can best support and enhance recruitment activity in the East Midlands
• We would also welcome your views on how the campaign can be tailored for the region, such as specific professions to highlight, or media channels to target

This event will be most relevant to recruitment leads and communications leads in councils in East Midlands.

Lunch will be provided so please let us know on the booking form if you have any special dietary requirements.
