EMC, in conjunction with Opun and Design Network are running a series of four half day masterclasses. The seminar will help participants to understand the aims and objectives of Manual for Streets and Manual for Streets 2 and provide practical guidance on its use and application. It will provide a critical review of the problems and barriers in applying Manual for Streets, including providing an update on recent case studies and planning appeals.

Including: • a workshop looking at the constraints and opportunities of sites, focusing on the multiple benefits of SuDS – getting the right scheme in the right place; • reference to recent case studies; and • an optional study tour to see stormwater management on the ground, providing practical guidance on SuDS use and application.
