Iran (Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children Focused) Information Session

The training session is designed to deepen your understanding of Iranian culture and the unique challenges faced by unaccompanied asylum-seeking children from Iran. The session will cover:

  • Cultural Overview: Explore the rich history, traditions, and social norms of Iran, providing a comprehensive background to better understand the cultural context of Iranian asylum seekers.
  • Experiences of Unaccompanied Children: Gain insights into the journeys and hardships faced by unaccompanied children seeking asylum, including the psychological and emotional impacts of displacement and separation from family.
  • Support Strategies: Learn effective approaches to support and engage with these children, fostering a safe and inclusive environment that respects their cultural heritage and addresses their specific needs.
